The Annual Australasian Conference on Safety and Quality in Health Care is the premier event on the health care agenda bringing together cutting edge international, regional and local trends in safety and quality through workshops and in-depth sessions.

The Conference is a major educational and networking event on the quality and safety health calendar in South East Asia Pacific, and brings together health care leaders, decision-makers, researchers, professionals and administrators to be part of an international community committed to excellence in quality and safety.

8th Australasian Confrence

AAQHC is pleased to be holding its 21st Annual conference in Perth. This is the 8th Australasian Conference on Safety and Quality in Health Care which will be held in Perth, 6th to 8th September, 2010 at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre.
 

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT POINTS
 

The 8th Australasian Conference on Safety and Quality in Health Care offers an opportunity to obtain vital professional development time for national health professional registration requirements.
 

RCNA
 

This conference has been endorsed by Royal College of Nursing, Australia (RCNA), according to approved criteria. Attendance attacts 19 RCNA Continuing Nurse Education (CNE) points as part of RCNA's Life Long Learning Program (3LP).

RACS

This educational activity has been approved in the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) CPD Program. Fellows who participate can claim one point per hour (maximum 19 points) in Category 4: Maintenance of Clinical Knowledge and Skills, towards 2010 CPD totals.

 

ACEM
 

The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) has approved the 8th Australasian Conference as an Accredited Meeting at 0.5 points per hour.

 

RANZCOG
 

Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) can claim CPD points in the "other meetings" categories of the CPD Program for attending this conference. Fellows would need an attendance certificated stating the number of hours of educational activity involved.
