Since leaving the University of Tasmania (Lecturer in Nursing) in 1997, Jenny has been involved in private health care, first in a clinical role as an Infection Control consultant, as a manager, then as a Quality in Health Care Professional. Jenny is currently Marketing and Operations Manager, Nursecare Personnel, a nurse placement and corporate health promotion agency located in Tasmania. Until 2008 Jenny was the Manager Quality & Safety, The Hobart Clinic, Private not-for-profit Psychiatric Hospital, 28 beds plus non in-patient business. She was also the Continuous Improvement Coordinator, Glenview, a private not-for-profit residential and community aged care service, 100 residential and 100 community clients. Previously Jenny has also worked in organisations including St John’s Hospital & Calvary Hospital Hobart.Jenny has combined her nursing, management, education and administrative backgrounds to provide consultancy in health service accreditation, and contributes professionally via her appointments as Surveyor with The Australian Council on Healthcare Standards since 2004, Vice-president and Treasurer of Australasian Association for Quality in Health Care as the Tasmanian network representative, and Chair of Tasmanian Chapter of Royal College of Nursing Australia.
