Professional Credentialing
The Professional Development and Credentialing (PDAC) Committee members, under the guidance of the Registrar, conduct the assessment for Associate Fellow and the initial assessment for Fellow. The Board of Examiners conducts the examination for Fellow status. You will be required to make a presentation about your achievements to the Board of Examiners.The PDAC is also responsible for monitoring the program and evaluating its effectiveness.

Applications are now open for the next round of Fellowship exams which will be held as part of the conference proceedings in Perth in September 2010.
Financial members who believe they meet the requirements for this important award are invited to submit an application to the Professional Development and Credentialing Committee by 31st May 2010. Successful completion of the exam process results in the post nominal of FAAQHC being awarded. This is a lifetime award provided membership remains financial and evidence of ongoing professional development can be provided when requested.
Join over 40 Fellow members from Australia and New Zealand who have participated in this process. Feedback indicates that members have valued this process as it offers them an opportunity for their skills competencies and contribution to safety and quality agenda to be formally recognised.

Associate Fellow
An Associate Fellow credential is also available to financial members. Members can apply at any time. The option to have the award of AFAAQHC presented at the annual conference is available to members.
Over 50 members have received this award.

New Board Member appointed to the Board of Examiners
AAQHC is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Graham Bedford to the Board of Examiners for the Fellowship Credentialing Program. Mr Bedford is currently the Head of Secretariat/National Medicines program manager Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care.
Other Board Members include; Dr Marjorie Pawsey, Dr Joesph Ibrahim ( Founding Board Member) and Dr Heather Wellington.
Fellow examinations will be held during the AAQHC Conference in Perth in September 2010.
