Tools

We aim to provide members updated access to current quality and safety publications and resources for use in health care.

Publications

AAQHC publishes two journals each year and IQ e-newsletters monthly. These publications are only available to current financial members. Also available online in the Members login section.

Journal of the Australasian Association for Quality in Health Care

The Journal of AAQHC serves as a forum for sharing information and practical approaches to achieving optimal health care and services. AAQHC invites submissions on contemporary quality improvement initiatives undertaken within health care settings.

It also provides an opportunity for members to inform their colleagues of their achievements in a supportive environment. Papers should reflect original research on quality in health care, critique of quality in health care policy and related issues, and clinical case reports.

You can contact the Editor by email: editor@aaqhc.org.au.

Inside Quality E-Newsletter

The Inside Quality (IQ) e-newsletter was launched to share news, assist networking, help to publicise and organise events such as conferences and seminars, and market AAQHC to potential new members. While the Journal’s primary function is professional development of members, the newsletter’s main aim is to focus on AAQHC, what each local network is doing, national events and our peer organisations internationally.

The Newsletter is distributed monthly to all members. Do you have any news, updates, position vacant, diary notes etc that you would like published in the monthly e-newsletter? Contact the AAQHC Secretariat on aaqhc@aaqhc.org.au
